Privacy Statement for www.lasergroup.com

The Laser Group, Inc. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm on-going commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: www.lasergroup.com.

In the highly unlikely event of a system problem during your visit, we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site (in over four years of active operation we have never had to make use of a single IP address for this purpose).  Only when you are actively shopping on our secure web site, your IP address is used to help identify you and your shopping cart.

Only when you are actively shopping does our site use cookies to keep track of your shopping cart.

Our site's literature request form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address) and financial information (like their account or credit card numbers).  We use customer contact information from the registration form to send the user information about our company. The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary.  Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.  Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services and then deleted.  We do not use any cookies to keep financial information "on file".

This site contains a very small number of links to other sites.  These well-known sites were pre-screened before they were added to any of our web pages.  (Most notably we have two principal links - one to Hewlett Packard's web site and another to Adobe).  The Laser Group, Inc. and www.lasergroup.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites.

Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services.  We collect visitor's contact information (like email or mailing addresses) and financial information (like account or credit card numbers). Contact information from the order form is used to send orders and information about our company to our customers.  The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary.  Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below.  Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services and is deleted immediately upon completion of the transaction in question.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.  No information of any sort is shared with any other firm, nor is visitor or customer information sold to any other company.  All data stored in-house is encrypted and accessed only by principals of The Laser Group, Inc.
